Just in case somebody needs to recall the concepts, this old mnemonic could hejp: LEO the lion makes GER! LEO: Losing Electron,Oxidation GER: Gaining Electrons, Reduction. And for recalling the charge issue, this joke can work: Two molecules meet and one of them see that the other one is looking for something... Molecule 1: "What are you looking for?" Molecule2: "I lost and electron." Molecule1: "Are you sure?" Molecule2: "Im positive!" A nice explanation!
