Here is another story of a family who was pressured to abort after a prenatal diagnosis. Gabe had an unbalanced AV Canal Defect plus Trisomy 21. Against medical advice they delivered Gabe. And against conventional wisdom they found joy and love instead of disaster.
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
Conventional wisdom says that a trial like this will ruin your life. But conventional wisdom doesn’t know God.
