Trig Palin is going to do all right. At first I was concerned that having a mom who was governor and a VP candidate would deprive him of the attention that he needed. But the more I see of this family and their interaction with him, the more I’m convinced that this kid is going to do alright.
Piper shows the correct way to tame unruly hair. Good thing she did this before anybody noticed it sticking up!
I love this face-to-face interaction between Piper and her brother.
And another behind the scenes shot:
I’ve been holding off on blogging about the Palins because I really don’t want this site to be political. Even so, I’m keenly aware that Trig’s presence in this family will change the world for Mary, hopefully for good. Our nation will form judgments of Mary based on what they see in the family and in their son. And maybe, just maybe, the life Mary is living can pave the way for a better life for Trig. Right now, I’m hopeful about both.
And to the Palins, you’ve probably already realized the beginning of this, but I want to tell you that this little guy will bring your family blessings that you can’t imagine. Enjoy!

When you say “Mary” do you mean “Sarah”?
No, I mean Mary. My daughter.
